Garden Camp

Do you want to find out where your food comes from?

Do you like to get your hands dirty, smell the soil and plant a seed?

If so, come join us for “Garden Camp” at the Peter Woodbury School community garden where you can learned the tricks and trades of gardening. Come be a farmer participating in the garden up-keep, tasting and cooking the harvest. You can be a scientist learning about horticulture or an artist creating natural at projects.

INSTRUCTORS: Jessica Ferenc & Kasey Meisner

Jessica & Kasey are the garden coordinators at the Peter Woodbury School. They have various types of gardening knowledge, including experience with Growing Wild, Nature Explored and Project Learning Tree.

AGES: 7-10 years of age Boys & Girls

TIME:   9-12 noon
COST:   $125 Bedford Resident//$135 Non-Resident

LOCATION: Peter Woodbury School (classroom & garden)

WEAR: Students must wear clothes to get dirty in rain or shine. 
Closed toe shoes are necessary. 
Please bring a snack and water.
